Homemade Flower Bread

  1. Heat the milk (105-110F). pour into a mixer bowl.
  2. Add yeast and sugar, mix, let it stand until bubbly.
  3. Add melted butter and salt.
  4. Add 4 cups of flour to the mixture and starting mixing on a low speed.
  5. Gradually add the remaining flower.
  6. Keep mixing until dough comes away from the sides of the bowl and forms a ball, elastic and soft.
  7. Place the dough into a lightly greased bowl, turning once to coat all sides.
  8. Leave to rise until it doubles in volume.
  9. Transfer onto a lightly floured board and divide in 7 parts, forming each into a ball.
  10. Put one in the center of the round baking pan and arrange the rest around the center one to form a flower.
  11. Glaze the breads with egg wash and sprinkle with your seeds of choice.
  12. Leave to rise again for at least 1/2 hour.
  13. Preheat the oven to 400F. Bake for 35-40 min.
