Cornbread with Cheddar Cheese

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour (sifted)
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 can (14.75oz can) cream-style corn
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced red peppers
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
- Whisk together all of your dry ingredients.
- Separately mix buttermilk, eggs, and creamed corn (the wet ingredients).
- Pour your wet ingredients into the dry and stir all together until well combined.
- Mix in cheddar cheese, onions and red peppers and fold into your batter.
- Pour your batter into your bread pan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
