You know what, everyone I know loves Oreo cookies. I do too, and I’m a cookie fan myself. There’s something about their texture, their bittersweet chocolate flavor, and their dark chocolatey color that makes everyone want to grab one.
Oreos are part of many recipes because they are incredibly versatile. Using them as a pie crust is nothing new; you can even buy them pre-made.
The famous cookies are a convenient ingredient, and no-bake cake recipes are too. With this in mind I’m sharing with you this recipe; one of the easiest, fastest, but a very elaborate layered cake that looks and tastes much better than store-bought.
What goes into my Oreo Cheesecake?
This recipe has four parts. The cream cheese filling is soft and coating, it’s made out of cream cheese, whipping cream, a bit of sugar, and vanilla extract, what else do you need?
The chocolate cream is also luscious and silky, especially for the butter. Chocolate and whipped cream give this soft cream its texture.
The chocolate glaze will give your cake a glossy finish, and it’s actually effortless to make, just chocolate chips and vegetable oil.
Finally, there’s the Oreo crust, cookies, and butter, packed down evenly will be the base of these nice no-bake cake.
What you’ll need
You’ll need a mixing bowls to prepare your chocolate cream. A pot to melt the chocolate and incorporate the ingredients, you’ll need a cake mold to build the layers, and a small bowl to make your glazing.
The tricky part is making all the different elements separately, around the same time, and layering them in an organized manner.
Done correctly, you’ll end up with a beautiful layered cake, and you’ll just have to chill it for a few hours before sharing it with your loved ones.
Chocolate glaze is enough for this cake but if you wish to decorate more whipping cream, Oreo cookies, grated chocolate are all great options.
