These delicate Hungarian cookies are addicting and so easy to make.
6 oz Philadelphia cream cheese
2 sticks of butter
2 cups of flour
1 cup finely grinded almonds mixed with 1 cup sugar (filling)
Icing sugar for dusting
Cream the cheese and butter until soft. Add flour. Chill for 1/2 hour. Pinch off peace of dough, form ball, roll it in the icing sugar and then stretch it into thick circle. Add 1 teaspoon of filling into the center and then roll jelly roll style. Pinch the ends close and from a crescent shape. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in 360F oven 15-20 minutes.
